Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 2026
1. Introduction
Reorder Radar ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Happy Software. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our Shopify application ("the App").
2. Information We Collect
When you install the App, we access certain data from your Shopify store through the Shopify API, including:
- Store information: Store name, domain, and email address.
- Product and inventory data: Product titles, variant details, inventory levels, and sales order history used to calculate reorder forecasts.
We do not collect customer personal data (names, addresses, payment details) from your store's orders.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide inventory forecasting and reorder recommendations.
- To send weekly email digests (Pro plan, with your consent).
- To improve and maintain the App's functionality.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest). We use hosted PostgreSQL infrastructure with SOC 2 compliance. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties, except:
- Infrastructure providers necessary to operate the App (e.g., hosting, email delivery).
- When required by law or legal process.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data for as long as the App is installed on your Shopify store. Upon uninstallation, we delete your store data within 30 days. You may request immediate deletion by contacting us at the email below.
7. GDPR (European Users)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Request data portability.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Our legal basis for processing is contractual necessity (providing the App's service) and legitimate interest (improving the App).
8. CCPA (California Users)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact us at the email below.
9. Shopify API Compliance
Our use and transfer of information received from Shopify APIs adheres to the Shopify API License and Terms of Use, including the Protected Customer Data requirements.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the App or email.
